The Russo Brothers did it again! Anthony and Joe Russo take the helm and direct what could be Marvel's biggest hit since Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The Russo Brothers proved that they executed the cinematography, visuals, music, story, and characters perfectly. They proved to all Marvel fans that they will go above and beyond when Avengers 3: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2 comes around.

In Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, government interference pressures Captain America (Chris Evans) and his newly formed Avengers into segregation when the UN and other country's governments want the Avengers to be held accountable for all their actions. This status quo divides the team up into two sides. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sides with the government and agrees to government oversight in regards to the Avengers and introduces an anti-hero bill along with secretary of state Thaddeus Ross (Sam Hutt) called the Sokovia Accords, Sokovia being the name of the country where the aftermath of Avengers Age of Ultron took place; and wants Captain America and his team to sign it. Captain America disagrees and strongly believes that superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without interference. Which soon causes a huge debate which leads to a feud and clashes of heroes. This pushes Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johanson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olson), and The Vision (Paul Bethany) to pick a side.
That is the official synopsis and we do not get anymore info, but in reality the film is much more than that. It has a very strong story and twist and turns that make you puzzle and challenge you which side to pick. Often times I found agreeing with both Iron Man and Captain America. The writing of this film was perfectly done! This was not a one sided story that just focused on Captain America and made Iron Man the villain or antagonist. It dwells deeper, morally challenging you to think before just choosing a side. Each character got enough screen time that no superhero film has done well before. The dialogue between each character was perfectly and not enough room for cheesy one liners! Which is good and I am glad Joss Wedon will not be directing Avengers 3! OK so lets recap!

**********WARNING!!!!!!!!!! WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS!****************************
For those who saw the film, I would really appreciate the feedback and your opinion, I did not like that Crossbones (Frank Grillo) was killed within the first 20 minutes of the film! The opening credits were confusing at first and got me irritated because it was cut short, but made sense in the end!
The battle scene in Laos was perfect! I really enjoyed that the Sokovia Accords was done because of Scarlet Witch. It showed that, although all those prior events led up to the accords, it was because of the actions of The Avengers that pushed the UN and over 100 countries to sign the treaty.
Iron Man has gotten major character development since 2008 and up until this film I truly admired what he has become, when he saw that his actions in Sokovia were horrible and really wanted the accords to be signed so future events like this wont happen. I sided with him there, and the cross debate between Stark and Rogers was perfectly done which tore me in half.
Everything goes well, the Avengers are debating on the subject when Steve leaves to attend a funeral, Peggy Carter's funeral (Haley Atwell). We then see Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp) provide the Eulogy to her Aunt's funeral, and this is when Captain America finds out the truth behind Agent 13. After this scene the UN meeting occurs and a bomb goes off and kills 12 people, one of them being the king of Wakanda, an African country where vibrainum, the rarest and strongest metal on earth, is created; is killed. This of course angers Tachalla, or The Black Panther (Chadwick Boeman) and is hungry for revenge when it was announced that The Winter Soldier was behind everything. This escalates into Steve finding Bucky and escaping the German police which then escalates to a fight between Black Panther and Bucky and a wild chase. Finally, it ends with Captain America, Falcon, and Bucky being captured.
Earlier before all this, a new villain is introduced and not much information is revealed about him. His name is Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) and is the mastermind and puppeteer behind all this. He poses as a UN worker and tries to mind control Bucky which then causes him to go into a rampage and goes again Iron Man and his team. Bucky is soon captured again by Falcon and Captain America and call Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Antman to help get Bucky to Russia. Bucky revealed that Zemo is trying to get the other 5 winter soldiers and use them as a weapon.
The next scene soon escalates into a fight in the airport with Spiderman (Tom Holland) introduced and fighting up against Captain America. This scene I do not want to go into detail because it HAS TO BE experienced on the screen and not by words.
Captain America and Bucky manage to get to Russia while the other Avengers are captured and stored on the R.A.F.T, a secret jail for superheroes and villains. Iron Man finds out the truth about Zemo and wants to find Captain America. He convinces Falcon to tell him and Iron Man rushes off. Iron Man, Captain America, and Bucky all arrive in the secret HYDRA facility and enter it to find the five winter soldiers dead and shot by Zemo. Zemo is hiding behind a shielded metal room and reveals his plan. It was not to unleash the winter soldiers, but to turn Iron Man and Captain America together.
He does this by revealing the video footage that was shown in the opening credits. It reveals that Bucky was responsible for killing Iron Man's parents and this infuriates Iron Man and starts fighting them both. This results in the last fight between Captain America and the Winter Soldier vs. Iron Man. Black Panther arrives and tries to kill Zemo, and Zemo tells his plan again to Black Panther. He says that after the events that happened in Age of Ultron. Zemo wanted revenge against the Avengers because Zemo's family died in Sokovia. He knew he could not kill them, so he would turn them against each other for revenge. Black Panther realizes that killing Zemo for revenge would not bring his father back. He captures Zemo and turns him in to the UN.
Captain America and Iron Man continue fighting but stop. Captain helps Bucky up and walks away. Iron Man soon returns the Avengers facility where the remaining Avengers are War Machine, Vision and himself.
In the end, Captain America goes to the R.A.F.T and breaks out Ant-man, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Falcon and head to Wakanda.
