Disney Infinity: Finding Dory Playset Gameplay

In this last and final playset, players can play as Dory and Nemo. It is the second playset that only features two playable figures, the first one was the Lone Ranger playset. In this playset you can play as Dory or Nemo and rescue fish who have been lost in the pipes and tanks in the Marine Life Institute due to the floods. It is a fun and cute story that is about four hours to six hours to complete. The mechanics of Dory and Nemo are similar to controlling a flying vehicle. Dory and Nemo have some funny and cute fighting moves. Dory speaks whale and the echoes causes her enemies to be confused, while Nemo throws bubbles that ricochets between enemies.

See the videos below, these videos are from the actual gameplay and how the mechanics of Dory and Nemo work in the Toy Box

Finding Dory Review

******This article may contain Spoilers*******

Disney
Finding Dory swam into theaters June 17th, 2016. It opened up to a huge success and is one of the first animated films to gross high income. Finding Dory opens up with a baby Dory and her parents. The story reveals that Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) suffers from short term memory loss, like in the first film. Her parents struggle to keep her focused, and due to an unfortunate event, Dory gets swept from the undertow and looses her parents. She is lost in a kelp forest and swims around the ocean to find her parents. In this heartbreaking scene, we see Dory searching and growing up still search for her parents. The story continues and clashes with the first film. We see Dory meet Marlin( Albert Brooks) and the exposition for the first act ends there.

One year later we see Dory, Marlin, and Nemo (Hayden Rolence) in their home sleeping. Dory eagerly wakes them up to start their day. They take Nemo to school for his field trip. Dory accompanies Nemo on the field trip to the Sting Ray Migration. Dory gets swept from the undertow and currents the stingrays cause due to the flapping of their fins and causes her to remember something from her past. This causes Dory to convince Marlin and Nemo to go to Morro Bay and find her parents. They travel through the EAC with Crush all the way to California.

Disney
After an encounter with a sea monster they end up in the kelp forest. Marlin, upset with Dory, says things he did not mean to say and causes Dory to go up on shore. She gets captured by two humans and take her inside Marine Life Institute in Morro Bay. Nemo and Marlin confront two sea lions (Dominic West and Idris Elba) who explain to Marlin and Nemo what the MLI is all about: Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release. The sea lions summon a bird named Becky and then help Marlin and Nemo rescue Dory.

Meanwhile in Quarantine, Dory is in a Tank and meets Hank, (Ed O'Neill) the cranky octopus who wishes to go back to the ocean instead to an aquarium in Cleveland. They go off on an adventure and meet a whale shark named Destiny (Kaitlin Olson) and a Beluga Whale named Bailey (Ty Burell).

Soon Dory throughout the course of her adventure gets many flash blacks from her childhood and finds out she is from the Open Ocean exhibit. After arriving there, she did not find her parents. Some crabs revealed that all the Blue Tangs are in quarantine ready to be shipped to Cleveland. Dory, Marlin, and Nemo meet up again and arrive at Quarantine. They find the Blue Tang fish tank and they reveal once again that her parents are not there. Hank gets Dory out of the tank and Hank gets caught, Dory is released into the ocean when the cup breaks and ends up back in the Kelp forest.

Disney
In the last act, it gets crazy. I prefer not to spoil it. Overall the story is amazing! Great Cast, and Great setting! Each character has their own disability like Bailey, he cannot use his sonar, Destiny is near sighted, and Hank only has seven tentacles. Throughout the film they learn to live with their abilities and help Dory find her family. The final act is a bit far fetched and crazy! Like Toys talking and emotions having emotions crazy, but if you do not have an issue with fish talking, an octopus drinking coffee and other crazy Pixar antics, then the last act is crazy and well written.

Finding Dory is an emotional and fun journey that is filled with laughs, joy, and adventure.

Finding Dory deserves 5 out of 5 stars and is one of the top three Pixar films

"RUMORS CONFIRMED?: Guardians of the Galaxy To Replace Tower Of Terror, Captain America Launch Coaster Coming" NOT! THIS IS STILL A RUMOR NO CONFIRMATION

We have been seeing this all over the web since April and has been going around ever since Mice Chat released this! Let me set the facts straight:
Mice Chat is not an official Disney Blog and Website, so anything they say should not be taken for consideration when it comes to Disney Parks news.
Unless Disney Parks Blog or Disneyland confirms it, it is still a rumor!
Mice Chat is a forum and many things can be said and invented. They said that for the 60th, Fantasyland was going to Add a Frozen dark ride and update all their rides, So far it is false to some extent.
Yes some things have became true like ticket hikes, but nothing is true until it is confirmed by the main mouse himself!

This article is straight from the website, see link below:

RUMORS CONFIRMED?: Guardians of the Galaxy To Replace Tower Of Terror, Captain America Launch Coaster Coming

Over the last month, I have heard a lot of people talking about a possible Guardians of the Galaxy overlay for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Supposedly, Disney is looking to opt out of the licensing fees paid for the use of the Twilight Zone franchise in this ride at Disney Parks around the globe, as odd of an overlay as Guardians might sound like for it. Sounds pretty far fetched, right? Well, it isn’t. Actually, it’s all true according to sources.

Before you get too upset, from everything I have heard at this point, this only applies to Disney California Adventure. There are no plans anytime soon to overlay or replace the Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, especially with Disney and Sony working together on a feature film based on the attraction that also ties into the Twilight Zone franchise. Why overlay the California attraction? For a brand new theme park land for DCA – MARVEL Studios.
MARVEL Studios would encompass the last true expansion pad for the park, situated between Hollywood Land and A Bug’s Land. The area would be a natural extension of Hollywood Land, being a “working movie studio”. On the lot, guests could find a series on indoor and outdoor meet and greet experiences, as well as plenty of shopping and dining. One completely new attraction would greet guests according to current rumblings: a launch coaster featuring Captain America, showcasing elaborate show scenes between coaster ride portions. The other attraction would be near one of the two entrances to the new land: a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed overlay of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-img.1
With the current budgetary mindset in Disney Parks management right now, this makes a lot of sense. If they want to get MARVEL quickly and in a less costly manner into the California parks, this seems like a good answer. The Tower of Terror in California has never been as beloved or admired as much as the original attraction in Florida, and as long as an attraction of the same style existed, I find it hard to believe that any guests visiting the Disneyland Resort would actually care.
What would a Guardians of the Galaxy overlay for Tower look like? Who knows. I’m assuming there may be some material in the second Guardians of the Galaxy film which may lend itself to this attraction style, but until then, I am absolutely at a loss for how this makes sense. However, I don’t doubt Disney could make it work and make the overlay not feel so forced.
As always, things are subject to change and it sound like all of this is still in the very early design phases right now and very much subject to change. They still have an entire Star Wars-themed land to complete at Disneyland before this sees the light of day, and a lot can change between now and then. However, it certainly sounds like Disney is “hooked on a feeling” when it comes to Guardians of the Galaxy, so I expect to see an attraction based on these films sooner, rather than later.

Now folks, let us all take a deep breath and relax, this is not confirmed by Disney and even though it says Rumors Confirmed, it is still a RUMOR! Nothing has been set in stone yet and while yes DCA wants to have something Marvel related, and yes Disney pays royalty fees for Tower of Terror, there is no confirmation of this happening! Besides, Disney has reported a loss this quarter due to Shanghai swallowing the budget, and with budget cuts made at the parks, and in their company like Disney Infinity and the Gaming Department, there is no budget for this yet! Let us all relax and wait and see until Disney Parks Blog announces it.

Disney's Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass Review

Source: Disney
Disney's Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass is a crazy, fun filled, and wonderful journey that will keep viewers excited and on their edge of their seats. James Bobin did an amazing job in telling a story with a new and exciting twist.

The story starts with Alice (Mia Wasikowska) on her father's ship the wonder and escaping sea pirates. After a successful escape she arrives back home to her mother(Lindsay Duncan). She finds out that her mother had sold the boat in order to keep the house. Infuriated by this, Alice attends a party hosted by Hamish  (Leo Bill) to persuade him to give her back the wonder and keep their house. Hamish, still upset from when Alice rejected his marriage proposal, remains bitter and refuses her. Alice becomes upset and sad. She soon encounters Absolem (Alan Rickman) and follows him throughout the house. She enters a room and sees Absolem enter through a mirror and vanishes. She follows him into the mirror and enter Underland once again.

She soon meets her pals again, The White Queen (Anne Hathaway), The Chesire Cat (Stephen Fry), The White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), Bayard (Timothy Spall), Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (Matt Lucas), and the Dorm Mouse (Barbara Windsor). They are all excited to see Alice and notify her of the bad news; The Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is sick and Dying. They tell her he has become more madder than before and darker. Alice, concerned about her friend, pays him a visit and notices how different the hatter has become. She thinks that he has gone mad when he explains to her that his parents are still alive and trapped somewhere. Alice tells him that is impossible and that they are dead. Upset by this, the Hatter kicks her out and turns darker than before. She tells the rest of the gang of what has happened and the White Queen tells Alice of a way she can save the Hatter.

Source: Disney

They all tell her she can go visit Time (Sacha Baron Cohen) and borrow his chronosphere, a time traveling device which also powers the grand clock, to go back in time and save the Hatter. She goes into the clock tower and encounters Time. He is not amused and pleased about Alice's presence and warns her that things always happens for a reason and that you cannot change the past only learn from it. She disregards his advice and steals the chronosphere when she finds out that the Red Queen (Helen Boham Carter) wants to borrow it as well.

The story proceeds with an adventure back in time. Things go haywire and awry, when the chronosphere is not in place and with Alice back in the past. A lot of things are revealed about Underland's past and about the characters. The audience learns more about Hatter's family and his origins along with the cause of the Red Queen's hunger for power and her cause of her big head. Things go from bad to worse as Alice races through time to save the Hatter, escape Time, and solve the mystery of the death of Hatter's family.

Source: Disney

At first, Time seems like a villain in the film, but progressively turns out to be a mediator and wants control in Underland with the Chronosphere in place. He is an antagonist at some point but he is not necessarily a villain. The story has a great pace and strong acts throughout. The cast is amazing and right on. Visuals are beautiful and scenic. Costume design was great! Especially when you hear that i was a challenge for the cast to find out how to create the character of Time and create his look. The story drags a bit before the second act but ties up all loose ends. Fans do not have to see the first film in order to understand this film. Surprisingly, this is one of the very few good movies with a strong sequel. It is sentimental and strong at times, especially in the beginning with Alice and Hatter. They can connect when Hatter talks about his loss of his father. The character development on both the Red Queen and Hatter is strong and very well developed.  The movie has a strong message and theme, in life things are given to us and taken away and we must appreciate it all of it before it goes away. In addition, it also tells us to live life to the fullest because the past won't change and if we make errors, we learn from it. Lastly, it tells us to never be filled with pride and always apologize and be honest with one another, especially with family.

This movie had a great ending, despite the villain turning good at the end, it was a great film and felt very emotional towards the end. It might be the last time Alice returns to Underland, but the friendships and lessons she learned there will be timeless.

This film deserves 4.5 stars out of 5
